Controller
The controller responsible for this website and for the processing of personal data is 2TECH Technology AG, Schwarzenburgstrasse 854, 3145 Niederscherli, Switzerland, e-mail info@2tech.ch.
Requests via the contact form
The form on the contact page (quote, demo or partnership) sends nothing to a server of this website. When you send it, your browser opens your e-mail program with a prepared e-mail to info@2tech.ch (2TECH Technology AG). It contains what you entered or chose in the form: type of request, company, first name and surname, phone, e-mail, preferred reply and, if filled in, product or service, town/city and message, plus a request number. If you request a quote from a product or for your cart, the products are already in the message, and outside Switzerland also the country you chose or that was detected; you can change both before sending. 2TECH Technology AG receives these details only when you send this e-mail yourself, from your own e-mail account. The form stores nothing in your browser.
Support ticket
The ticket form on the support page sends nothing to a server of this website either. When you send it, your browser opens your e-mail program with a prepared e-mail to info@2tech.ch. It contains category, urgency, company, first name and surname, phone, e-mail, subject and the description of the problem and, if filled in, location or branch and device or serial number, plus a ticket number. 2TECH Technology AG receives these details only when you send this e-mail yourself. The form stores nothing in your browser.
Cart and order
The shop cart is stored only in your browser (localStorage “2tech-cart”: the products and their quantities). The order page asks for company, first name and surname, e-mail, phone, street, postcode, town/city and country and, if you wish, UID number, your reference, a different delivery address and comments. So that nothing is lost when you go back to the cart, these entries stay stored in this tab (sessionStorage “2tech-checkout”) and are deleted when the tab is closed. The order page sends nothing to a server of this website either. A click on “Create order e-mail” opens your e-mail program with a prepared e-mail to sales@2tech.ch. It contains your details, the items with quantities and prices, the amounts and a reference number. 2TECH Technology AG receives your order only when you send this e-mail yourself, from your own e-mail account.
Your e-mails to us
We process the order, contact and support e-mails you send us in order to handle and invoice your order or request and to support you. They are stored with our e-mail provider, Hostpoint AG, in Switzerland. We keep orders and other business records for 10 years under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO).
Country for prices and language
So that this website can show the prices and the language for your country, your browser asks the service “Country is” (api.country.is) of Line of Flight B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands, once on your first visit. With this request the provider receives your IP address and the technical details that a browser sends with every request (browser type, language setting and the address of this website, but not the page you are viewing); the request passes through Cloudflare's network. The provider answers only with the country code and states that it does not log requests. Of this lookup, only the two-letter country code and the time of the request are stored in your browser (localStorage); after 30 days the request is made again. If the request fails, the country is estimated from the language setting and the time zone of your browser. If you choose a country yourself at the bottom of the page, or a language in the menu, this choice is also stored only in your browser; it takes precedence over the automatic detection.
Two technical values are also kept in sessionStorage for the next page only: “2tech-country-top” (the chosen country, so that the page starts at the top after a country choice) and “2tech-vt-footer” (the position of the footer for the transition to the next page); the next page reads and deletes them at once, otherwise they go when the tab is closed, and they are not sent anywhere either.
